Welcome to the listing of the Jackson Gore Board of Directors and Jackson Gore Management. This listing is intended to give you a quick snapshot of the people behind the scenes, what they do and how to get in touch with them if you need to.

Please keep in mind that the functional responsibilities for each director listed are in addition to their overall responsibility for managing all aspects of the Association’s operations.

Jackson Gore Board of Directors

John Coykendall

President
Develops policies, procedures and strategic direction for the Association. Oversees activities of the various Board committees as required. Conducts Board meetings.

Bruce Schmidt

Vice President and Commercial Representative
Assists the President with various responsibilities on an as needed basis. Conducts Board meetings in President’s absence. Supports Commercial arm of Jackson Gore.

Joanie Sartorio

Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair
Responsible for monitoring the financial health of the Association. Works with Vail Management to develop annual financial budget, reviews monthly financial statements, monitors accounts receivable and serves as main contact with auditor and outside accounting firm.

Ronald Franz

Secretary and Legal Committee Chair
Ensures accurate recording and posting of Board meeting minutes. Serves as main contact for Association with applicable outside legal counsel as needed. Also, serves on the Communications Committee.

William Barrett

Facilities and Maintenance Committee Chair
Works in close coordination with Jackson Gore maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the Association’s mechanical systems and physical structures and when necessary, their timely repair or replacement.

Charlie McCaffery

Long-range Planning Chair
Examines long-term physical needs of Jackson Gore and develops plans such as the Renovation Project designed to guide the Association and its properties through a major transformation to meet future operating and guest requirements.

Mike Wheeler

Communications Committee Chair
Oversees Jackson Gore communication needs and activities including development of the Association website, updates, and frequent owner notifications designed to keep owners aware of activities and events at Jackson Gore.

Kimberly Pickett

Housekeeping Committee Chair, Commercial Representative
Drawing on 21 years of hospitality experience and 25 years HOA experience, Kim works with Jackson Gore Housekeeping to establish policies and procedures. Supports Commercial arm of Jackson Gore.

Dylan Heaney

Commercial Representative
Supports Commercial arm of Jackson Gore. With nearly two decades of experience in the ski industry, Dylan has led retail and rental operations across North America, specializing in guest service and operational execution. In his current role, he oversees the commercial entities at Jackson Gore, including Mountain Outfitter Retail, Okemo Made, and the Jackson Gore Rental Shop.

Jackson Gore Management

Sean Meszkat

Director of Lodging Operations/Okemo
Sean has overseen Lodging Operations at Okemo Mountain Resort since August, 2024. In his current role, Sean is responsible for the oversight of Condominum Owners’ Association (COA) management, rental operations, property management and recreation management across Spring House, Jackson Gore Village and Solitude Village.

Prior to joining Okemo, Sean led the Lodging Operations at Mount Snow from 2021 to 2024. He began his hospitality career at the historic Equinox Resort & Spa in Manchester, Vermont. Sean also serves on multiple HOA and COA boards and committees throughout Southern Vermont. He is an active member of the Vermont Lodging Association (VLA) and holds the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation.

Property Management / Owner Services

Courtney Pike

Property Manager
Serves as Property Manager for Jackson Gore Village, overseeing property operations, maintenance, budgeting, and homeowner relations. She works with association boards, resort leadership, contractors, and staff to ensure the community is well-maintained, financially sound, and operating efficiently. Her responsibilities include project management, risk mitigation, and delivering exceptional service to owners and guests.

Julie Taylor

Owner Communications & Support
Serves as the primary point of contact for Jackson Gore Village COA owners, delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive owner relationships. Responsible for managing owner communications, including responding to owner emails, phone calls, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Coordinates communication between owners, and the Jackson Gore Team to ensure questions, concerns, and service requests are resolved efficiently. Supports day-to-day owner-facing services, including owner reservations, Space A requests, maintenance restriction notifications, HOA and condominium collection assistance, and general owner support to enhance the overall owner experience.

Preston Decker

Owner Projects & Administrative Support
Leads owner-related projects and administrative initiatives that support the Jackson Gore Village COA owner experience. Responsible for maintaining and updating the owner website, coordinating owner audits, and supporting owner record management and compliance efforts. Assists with owner-facing programs including RCI exchanges, resale transactions, HOA and condominium collection support, and other special projects as assigned. Works closely with owners and the Jackson Gore Team to ensure accurate information, efficient processes, and the successful execution of owner services initiatives.
